CORONAVIRUS DISEASE - 2019
Dear friends and patients,COVID-19 is the latest epidemic virus to put everyone on edge, following the likes of SARS, MERS, H1N1 and other exotic flus which are usually worse for the people at the point of origin than for us here in the USA. While cases will continue to show up in the U.S., and some will be fatal, the odds of getting through this one tend to favor us when we remain calm (don’t stress), eat healthfully, stay well-hydrated, get enough sleep and strengthen our immune systems.The highest percentage with severe consequences has been under 15% in people 80+ in age - that’s still an 85% survival rate. All other categories, including young children under age 9 (no deaths), and people with certain diseases (cancer, diabetes, cardiovascular or respiratory diseases) have had a 90+% chance of survival.Flu shots are questionable since they zero in on one particular strain leaving the body wide open for everything else, rarely help with the current virus and sometimes cause more problems than they help. During the last flu scare, nurses at our local hospital opted to wear masks to work rather than subject themselves to the flu shot. To date, there is no COVID-19 vaccine anyway.Prevention, as always, is our bodies’ best defense - caring for our immune system, which is frightfully clever when given a chance to remain strong and allowed to do its work.This could be a good time to check out food intake to see if it’s likely to help the immune system or weigh it down. Nausea Malaise
Dear Patients and Friends,
Nausea is my most dreaded illness symptom and, of course, I’m not alone in that. It is the body’s vengeful method of letting us know that one or more of our organs, usually the liver, gallbladder, and/or gut are fed up with what we send down to them. For example, things that claim to be food, excessively rich food, medications and parasites in residence.Some suggestions: If it’s “something you ate”, go right to the BWC and put a tsp. or Tbsp., depending on your weight, into a little water or juice and drink this every 1/2 hour for 2-3 hours. Take a couple of doses the next day, if needed, but this usually works right away.If it is something that’s been going on for a while, mostly felt in the mornings or during the night for instance, help the liver along with either the Nu-Liv or Patic Fe, the latter of which includes help for constipation.We also now have an Apex Homeopathic product called “Liver R-1” which works very quickly for nausea. You may want to continue using the R-1 for a couple of weeks anyway to give the liver more time to calm down. It is a liquid, so no pill swallowing in case that’s a hitch.Then, of course, unless the cause of the nausea is obvious, look at your life style of late and figure out what causes it and cut it out or minimize it. Secure or Not Secure? Eve's Herbs Website

We've had a few people mention that when they go to our website, www.EvesHerbs-Remedies.com, it shows up as "Not Secure". This is not a problem for browsing or ordering, and here's why:1. The "Not Secure" (or "http") indication only comes up on the website and the store browsing sections, because you are not providing any information in these sections. You are only looking at things, so far.2. But, in the store, once you click on "Add to Cart" for any product you wish to purchase, the order form that comes up is secure (notice the "https" in the URL) because this is where you will provide address and payment information. Notice that the "Not Secure" notice does not appear on this page.This being said, however, we are working on changing the website and store browsing sections to a secure status also, even though they don't need them, just so that everyone can feel more, well... secure.Bottom line: Your order information is secure. The "Blue Period" is Coming Right Up

If you’re anything like yours truly, this is often a rather blue time of the year. In my case, a birthday (75th) and, of course, Thanksgiving and Christmas right on top of each other with friends and family not immediately around.I had a fortunate gift from my guardian angel who reminded me to take more walks out with Mom Nature, and dropping the Patic Fe into my hand by accident.
