It came to our attention a few weeks ago that our original 310-855-1111 phone number had stopped call-forwarding to our Ashland, Oregon business phones. When dialed, a recording would tell callers that it was “…not a working number.” A few people thought we might have closed up shop.
Well, after many phone calls and many frustrating conversations around the tech support personnel merry-go-round, we were finally directed to an “Advanced Technical Support” person who, after 2 days of troubleshooting, finally found the problem and fixed it.
BOTTOM LINE: We are still here and our 310-855-1111 phone number is now properly call-forwarding once again.

With new strains of COVID making their way into the population, plus continued reports of fully vaccinated people still succumbing to the virus, it’s always a good idea to maintain your first defense against any disease: your own immune systems.
To keep the body armed to ward off illness, give it the power to be able to do so by eating at least 60% fruits and veggies and use your immune system power herbs.

OFF TOPIC - A LITTLE TESTIMONIAL FOR OUR TEETH

Enhance Formula, Skin Maladies and Fake Meat
Update on the arrival of the Enhance formula, dietary changes and helpful formulas for itches & rashes, and a little on “fake meat”.

I hope your 2021 is off to a decent start and you are feeling as well as possible under the crazy circumstances.
THE ENHANCE FORMULA — UPDATE
Since October, we’ve been told 2 weeks is the projected delivery date by the manufacturer. Calling again today, I was told that the problem is that some of the herbs contained in the formula had their crops wiped out in floods and are consequently delayed or more difficult to find.
So, no definite expected delivery date. We will keep you up-to-date and check with you when it arrives. In the meantime, especially while COVID-19 is still spreading, for immune system support the AHCC is the equivalent, some say better, and, of course, the trusty Bactotox and Vitamin D-3.
FOODS AND HERBS FOR ITCHES, RASHES AND BUMPS
There have been a lot of allergies cropping up lately. Along with using ALLER-TOTAL, Bactotox and/or ALLERDRAIN, here are some ways to cope using dietary changes, summed up in a recent testimonial from a patient:

But that was nothing compared to these new “can’t believe it’s” made from many different legume and veggie proteins. They SOUND good, and if they agree with you, great. Just take your digestives like Patic Fe, Lower Bowel formula or Anti-Geotrichum to prevent bloating and to keep moving things along.

COVID-19, Hot Flashes & Reflux
Dear Patients and Friends,
I trust you are enjoying the fall colors, and the rain being the very best house cleaner for the plants and trees. And, of course, the seemingly endless west coast fire season is slowly coming to an end.
I was hoping, by now, to say it is time to cut back on your immune herbs, along with the Herba Pneu formula for the lungs, but I’m waiting for the COVID-19 virus to finish its chaos and retreat entirely.
The Enhance formula is expected back by the end of November, so in the meantime we are using the AHCC and Bactotox. So far, so good - touch wood.
HOT FLASH SUCCESS STORY
I received a lovely case history, for all of us mature silver heads, when a patient called for her re-order and said her hot flashes have finally gone. Her description: “Great, stunning, remarkable.” The only change we’d made to her regimen was to change the E:V formula to the HerbAdrenal F:S. It was while we were temporarily out of the E:V, which has just come back in again, thank goodness.
ACID REFLUX & INDIGESTON
And, once again, let’s address that burning stomach (Acid Reflux/Indigestion). I’ve just discovered with my own reflux that, yes, the Gastrex and Patic Fe help, but what is quick and rewarding along with that is a piece of fruit to put the finishing touches on it. Honeycrisp apples are lovely, but any variety you like are fine.
Also, a further aid to clearing the bowel, which helps the reflux, is another surprise - I’ve been adding the Frozen Artichoke Hearts from Trader Joe’s to my soups, stews, stir fries, etc. I love these accidental discoveries…
Stay hale, hearty and easy until things simmer down and the calming herbs like Vervain, Calm Spirit and Keep Calm, etc. won’t fly off the shelves quite so fast anymore.

Outside of carrying the essential nutrients for hair, skin, teeth and nails, the BILICA formula contains naturally occurring B-vitamins and helps some with depression. The Joy Formula is, of course, the A-List supplement for depression, but they work well together.
The ENHANCE formula for the immune system is out-of-stock at the moment, but we should have it back in about 2 weeks. In the meantime, the AHCC is available again and, of course, the BACTOTOX.

Please do remember to stay hydrated to protect all vital organs, but especially kidneys and bladder. Often, water alone does not seem to do it, but fresh fruit does. Right now we have the best of it with cherries, watermelon, grapes and peaches, etc. Eat at least 2 pieces a day - it’s amazing how well these work.
